Hi, I’m excited to work with you on your song!  I thought you might like to know a little about me before you trust me with your one-of-a-kind creation.  I can still remember how I felt about my first song.

I have been teaching piano and voice for the last 30 years.  I’ve coached many pageant and talent contestants and watched them succeed. One of my greatest joys is serving as a church accompanist for many years and working with praise bands  for the last 10 years.

I’ve had a Top 20 original song at “Music in the Rockies” songwriting competition and was the Grand Prize Winner of the 2013 Solid Gospel Songwriter Search Contest along with my sister-in-law, Dixie Phillips.

Most recently, Dixie and I won a Dove Award for the 2015 Southern Gospel Song of the Year, Hidden Heroes.  We also won the  2015 Diamond Award for that same song.
